Mirages is a web app for creating shared, temporary photo spaces for events. Create a mirage, share the link or QR code, and everyone at the event can upload photos to a live gallery.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Mirages works entirely in the browser. You can optionally install it as a Progressive Web App on your phone for a native app experience.

Do guests need an account to view photos?

No. Anyone can view a public mirage gallery without an account. An account is only required to upload photos.

Yes. The free plan includes 1 active mirage with up to 50 photos and 24-hour sessions. Pro (€4.99/mo) and Business (€19.99/mo) plans unlock more features.

How do I share a mirage with guests?

Every mirage gets a unique short link (mirages.lol/r/abc123) and a downloadable QR code. Share via text, social media, email, or print the QR code for your event.

What happens when a mirage expires?

The mirage stops accepting new photos. Existing photos remain viewable and downloadable during the retention period — 24 hours for free, up to 1 year for Business plan.

Can I download all photos from a mirage?

Yes. Any participant can download all photos from a mirage as a single ZIP file.

What photo formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, HEIC (iPhone), and WebP. All photos are automatically compressed to WebP format for optimal quality and fast loading.

Is Mirages good for weddings?

Absolutely. Mirages is perfect for weddings — create a mirage, display the QR code at the venue, and all guests can contribute their photos to one shared gallery in real-time.

How does real-time photo sharing work?

Mirages uses WebSocket technology to push new photos to all connected viewers instantly. When someone uploads a photo, it appears in everyone's gallery within seconds — no refresh needed.

Can I react to photos?

Yes. You can react to any photo with heart, fire, or laugh emojis. Double-tap a photo for a quick like. The most-reacted photo is highlighted as 'Photo of the Moment'.

Are my photos secure?

Photos are stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure (Supabase Storage). Public mirages are viewable by anyone with the link. Private mirages (Pro+ plans) require approval to join.
